The Map Is Not the Territory

Facilitation
In dynamic environments, people are increasingly required to learn and work in a self-organized and collaborative manner. They arrive at valuable solutions and results by sharing their competencies and knowledge within the team. We promote this process in the role and with the attitude of the facilitator, as described in the “Statement of Values and Code of Ethics” of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF).
Design Thinking
We are designers – therefore Design Thinking naturally flows into everything we do as an attitude, way of thinking, and working method. We apply the process and methods, but above all the self-understanding and basic principles of DT. With a focus on human needs and their environment, with prototyping and iterative cycles, we help give direction to innovation and change projects.
Solution Focus
The solution-focused approach in the sense of Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg assumes that we don’t need to know the problem to find a solution. By focusing our gaze on the desirable future, we arrive more quickly at a clear idea of where the journey should go. Problem analyses that are perceived as difficult and frustrating can thus be avoided.
Play
Through play and experimentation, as many networks as possible can connect in the brain that are otherwise not linked in a state of focused attention. This way, we come up with completely new ideas and solutions. Sparking ideas come when we keep our brains playfully open, in the shower, while walking, on the bicycle – but hardly ever just before the deadline. That’s why we offer a playful, experimental approach in almost all of our activities – without losing sight of the goal.
Neurolinguistics
In every communication process, people bring in their own subjective reality. The Metamodel of Language (Chomsky, Korzybski, Bandler) allows individuals to become aware of their own language patterns and their underlying experiences and assumptions through questioning techniques. This way, ingrained thought patterns can be abandoned and rethinking becomes possible. This type of communication significantly expands the creative space in any kind of group work.
Real – Remote – Hybrid
Corona has catapulted us into the digital work reality at turbo speed. New platforms offer unprecedented opportunities to collaborate online in teams. This often results in a productivity that far exceeds the success of teamwork in physical space. This requires a form of moderation that involves everyone, enables different spaces for exchange, and creates a trusting atmosphere. We offer almost all workshops and seminars remotely as well.
